I am a tutor who is passionate about writing. I can help students develop their writing and reading skills, and I'm also available to tutor social studies, history, government, and other subjects. I received my undergraduate degree from Vassar College. I continued on with my education at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), where I earned my Ph.D. from the School of English. I truly love to teach writing. I have a thorough understanding of the English language and the various intricacies of good writing, like sentence structure, paragraph structure, and pacing. I've worked with amazing writers in Ireland who have taught me a lot about what it means to be a good writer. I bring my passion for writing to all of my tutoring sessions, and I work to make my time with students fun and informative. Part of why I love tutoring so much is because I get to relearn a lot of the concepts and ideas that I'm going over with a student. Every student is unique and has their own way of learning and thinking, and I enjoy figuring out the best ways to connect with my students. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy cooking good foods, practicing yoga, and going for runs.
